To the road raged asshole in the Jetta, I hope you crash and burn, experiencing a slow and painful death.

Background: So I am doing 70-75 in a 55... In VA... In the left lane. I am passing a line of cars and a semi. Some jackwagon in a Jetta comes out of nowhere and begins to tailgate me. I tap the brakes three times, not slowing down at all but activating the brake lights. NOT SLOWING DOWN. As soon as I get past the semi, I move right to allow said asshole to pass. He speeds up, cuts me off, hits his washer jets to impair my vision, then he panic stops. I damn near hit him. And the fucking Semi almost hits me. He then brake checks me a second time within 5-10 seconds. So I dive back to the left lane and accelerate to get out from behind him. He dives back to the left lane and starts to tailgate again. The middle is clear now (no semi) so I move back over and he follows me, still tailgating. I move back to the left lane and accelerate to put some distance, he follows, catching up to tailgate. At this point I grab my phone an am seconds from dialing the police when he jumps across three lanes to exit.

I hope his wife gives him gonorrhea.

While he sounds like a class act douche, I wouldn't have tapped the brakes had he pulled up behind me. My philosophy on tailgaters, is, to move out of their way if I'm on the fast lane, or to ignore them altogether if I'm on a local road. In the great state of the dirty Jerz, I would have had a heart attack if I got miffed about every tailgater.
